Descendants of Christian Levengood, ca.1800-1972 Levengood,
Walter W., 1894-. Microfilm made of transcript (typewritten, 13
leaves) prepared about 1974 by Walter W. Levengood, Hastings, Michigan;
copy donated to Library of Congress. Includes Anderson, Coppernoll,
Kitchen, Redmond, Shartel, Vicary and related families. Christian
Levengood, Sr. (b.ca.1800) immigrated with his widowed mother from
Germany to New York state in about 1815. He married twice, and in 1858
moved to St. Clair, Michigan. Descendants and relatives lived in New
York, Michigan, Indiana, Iowa, Texas, California and elsewhere. Some
descendants immigrated to Ontario and elsewhere in Canada.
