17th November 2003 - U18 in 4th Scottish Cup Final For a record 4th time the U18 girls have reached the Scottish U18 Cup Final. The game is being played on Sunday 23rd Nov at Peffermill at 1.00pm. This will be a historic day for MIM Hockey Club as no other club has been able to dominate the U18 scene for a long time and as such the committee would like as many senior players as possible to support the girls on the day. To indicate just how successful the squad is 15 of the girls were capped for Scotland last year and several are now featuring in the 1st and 2nd team squads, so obviously this is the future of MIM ladies. Because of this I urge you and your fellow players (men and ladies) to go along to Peffermill and cheer on the team. Please pass all this info on to your players/friends of the club and take time out on Sun 23rd Nov to see the girls (hopefully) retain their trophy for the 4th year running.
