Hi...I'm Carol. I'm 42, single, 5'10" tall, and have blond hair and blue eyes. I have a beautiful home that I love and enjoy decorating. I have two wonderful Shetland Sheepdogs... Kirby and Ginger ...they are my loyal companions and a cockatiel named "Doodle."  I enjoy many things...especially animals and the outdoors and anything involving water...i.e., the beach, fishing, swimming, scuba diving, waterskiing, windsurfing, canoeing, etc. I also enjoy the mountains and love to travel...although I don't get to travel as much as I would like....maybe one day.

I enjoy designing web pages.   I have done web pages for friends, small businesses and many non-profit organizations.  I am the webmaster for the SPCA of Wake County.   The picture below I took with my new digital camera.  It's a Kodak DC210 Plus.   It takes really wonderful pictures....very clear and best of all I never have to have film developed again if I don't want to!  I just download and print. 

I enjoy making many different kinds of craft projects and decorating my house in my spare time. I prefer to make things for my home as opposed to buying them...that way my home reflects my personality and makes it warm and interesting for my friends when they visit. If you like making crafts and decorating, you'll like the Sampler site. It has lots of decorating magazines you can browse through. There are lots of neat web sites out there for people who like to make crafts.  One of my favorites is HGTV.  It's like an encylopedia of home decorating, gardening, repairs, crafts...you name it. 

I like planting in my yard and especially growing roses.  I like watching wild birds. I find it relaxing and facsinating to watch the wild birds and to see how many different types come to my feeders...especially the beautiful blue birds as they take their evening bath.

I am also a volunteer at the SPCA of Wake County in Garner, North Carolina. I try to spread as much TLC as I can find time for to the animals there. Please consider adopting a homeless animal before you buy a puppy...the SPCA has many wonderful dogs and cats.  And please NEVER buy a puppy from a pet store!!!!  They come from puppy mills.  If you don't know what a puppy mill is please read this article.

I'm the Lady Angler on our family fishing team. I fish with my brother Al, my Father Al and my 12 1/2 year old niece Lauren, who is the Junior Angler and my father is the Senior Angler....and Al, he's the Captain and King Mackerel expert.  We fish King Mackerel tournaments off the coast of North Carolina every summer. I would have to attribute our successes in the past to my brother's persistence and patience.  He always says..."You can't catch a fish riding around."
