I visited My Great Aunt (Betty Starr Jackson) in Ottawa on Sunday June 20/99 and asked her if she remembered her father Lewis(Louis) Reese Starr's birthdate, she wasn't sure if it was September 21st or the 24th. Just the fact that it is either confirms that this is the right lineage. She also said that Lewis (Louis) Came to Burk's Falls from Buffalo, New York and not from Baycity, Michigan like previously suspected. This would make more sense seen as though Harriet Rebekah Starr was born in Erie, Pennsylvania.
I'm guessing that Hiram died somewhere in Pennsylvania or New York and Lewis his mother Mary and his 2 sister's moved to Canada sometime after.
I have no explanation to why Lewis used the Name "Louis" instead of Lewis. On his marriage record his age is marked as 24 years old which would have made him born in 1869. This posed a problem, but after some theorizing and talking to Aunt Betty, I came to the conclusion that he may have said he was 24 due to the fact Sarah Snell his wife to be was only 17 at the time. They probably courted for sometime before getting married, and her parents probably wouldn't have approved of a 30 + year old man dating their 16+ year old daughter. It's frowned on today so I can imagine what a controversy that would have stirred in the 1890's. Note on my Great Aunt's Betty and Marg, they are going to become Great Great Great Aunt's in October of 2000.

I visited My Great Aunt (Betty Starr Jackson) in Ottawa on Sunday June 20/99 and asked her if she remembered her father Lewis(Louis) Reese Starr's birthdate, she wasn't sure if it was September 21st or the 24th. Just the fact that it is either confirms that this is the right lineage. She also said that Lewis (Louis) Came to Burk's Falls from Buffalo, New York and not from Baycity, Michigan like previously suspected. This would make more sense seen as though Harriet Rebekah Starr was born in Erie, Pennsylvania.
I'm guessing that Hiram died somewhere in Pennsylvania or New York and Lewis his mother Mary and his 2 sister's moved to Canada sometime after.
I have no explanation to why Lewis used the Name "Louis" instead of Lewis. On his marriage record his age is marked as 24 years old which would have made him born in 1869. This posed a problem, but after some theorizing and talking to Aunt Betty, I came to the conclusion that he may have said he was 24 due to the fact Sarah Snell his wife to be was only 17 at the time. They probably courted for sometime before getting married, and her parents probably wouldn't have approved of a 30 + year old man dating their 16+ year old daughter. It's frowned on today so I can imagine what a controversy that would have stirred in the 1890's. Note on my Great Aunt's Betty and Marg, they are going to become Great Great Great Aunt's in October of 2000.

I visited My Great Aunt (Betty Starr Jackson) in Ottawa on Sunday June 20/99 and asked her if she remembered her father Lewis(Louis) Reese Starr's birthdate, she wasn't sure if it was September 21st or the 24th. Just the fact that it is either confirms that this is the right lineage. She also said that Lewis (Louis) Came to Burk's Falls from Buffalo, New York and not from Baycity, Michigan like previously suspected. This would make more sense seen as though Harriet Rebekah Starr was born in Erie, Pennsylvania.
I'm guessing that Hiram died somewhere in Pennsylvania or New York and Lewis his mother Mary and his 2 sister's moved to Canada sometime after.
I have no explanation to why Lewis used the Name "Louis" instead of Lewis. On his marriage record his age is marked as 24 years old which would have made him born in 1869. This posed a problem, but after some theorizing and talking to Aunt Betty, I came to the conclusion that he may have said he was 24 due to the fact Sarah Snell his wife to be was only 17 at the time. They probably courted for sometime before getting married, and her parents probably wouldn't have approved of a 30 + year old man dating their 16+ year old daughter. It's frowned on today so I can imagine what a controversy that would have stirred in the 1890's. Note on my Great Aunt's Betty and Marg, they are going to become Great Great Great Aunt's in October of 2000.

I visited My Great Aunt (Betty Starr Jackson) in Ottawa on Sunday June 20/99 and asked her if she remembered her father Lewis(Louis) Reese Starr's birthdate, she wasn't sure if it was September 21st or the 24th. Just the fact that it is either confirms that this is the right lineage. She also said that Lewis (Louis) Came to Burk's Falls from Buffalo, New York and not from Baycity, Michigan like previously suspected. This would make more sense seen as though Harriet Rebekah Starr was born in Erie, Pennsylvania.
I'm guessing that Hiram died somewhere in Pennsylvania or New York and Lewis his mother Mary and his 2 sister's moved to Canada sometime after.
I have no explanation to why Lewis used the Name "Louis" instead of Lewis. On his marriage record his age is marked as 24 years old which would have made him born in 1869. This posed a problem, but after some theorizing and talking to Aunt Betty, I came to the conclusion that he may have said he was 24 due to the fact Sarah Snell his wife to be was only 17 at the time. They probably courted for sometime before getting married, and her parents probably wouldn't have approved of a 30 + year old man dating their 16+ year old daughter. It's frowned on today so I can imagine what a controversy that would have stirred in the 1890's. Note on my Great Aunt's Betty and Marg, they are going to become Great Great Great Aunt's in October of 2000.

I visited My Great Aunt (Betty Starr Jackson) in Ottawa on Sunday June 20/99 and asked her if she remembered her father Lewis(Louis) Reese Starr's birthdate, she wasn't sure if it was September 21st or the 24th. Just the fact that it is either confirms that this is the right lineage. She also said that Lewis (Louis) Came to Burk's Falls from Buffalo, New York and not from Baycity, Michigan like previously suspected. This would make more sense seen as though Harriet Rebekah Starr was born in Erie, Pennsylvania.
I'm guessing that Hiram died somewhere in Pennsylvania or New York and Lewis his mother Mary and his 2 sister's moved to Canada sometime after.
I have no explanation to why Lewis used the Name "Louis" instead of Lewis. On his marriage record his age is marked as 24 years old which would have made him born in 1869. This posed a problem, but after some theorizing and talking to Aunt Betty, I came to the conclusion that he may have said he was 24 due to the fact Sarah Snell his wife to be was only 17 at the time. They probably courted for sometime before getting married, and her parents probably wouldn't have approved of a 30 + year old man dating their 16+ year old daughter. It's frowned on today so I can imagine what a controversy that would have stirred in the 1890's. Note on my Great Aunt's Betty and Marg, they are going to become Great Great Great Aunt's in October of 2000.

I visited My Great Aunt (Betty Starr Jackson) in Ottawa on Sunday June 20/99 and asked her if she remembered her father Lewis(Louis) Reese Starr's birthdate, she wasn't sure if it was September 21st or the 24th. Just the fact that it is either confirms that this is the right lineage. She also said that Lewis (Louis) Came to Burk's Falls from Buffalo, New York and not from Baycity, Michigan like previously suspected. This would make more sense seen as though Harriet Rebekah Starr was born in Erie, Pennsylvania.
I'm guessing that Hiram died somewhere in Pennsylvania or New York and Lewis his mother Mary and his 2 sister's moved to Canada sometime after.
I have no explanation to why Lewis used the Name "Louis" instead of Lewis. On his marriage record his age is marked as 24 years old which would have made him born in 1869. This posed a problem, but after some theorizing and talking to Aunt Betty, I came to the conclusion that he may have said he was 24 due to the fact Sarah Snell his wife to be was only 17 at the time. They probably courted for sometime before getting married, and her parents probably wouldn't have approved of a 30 + year old man dating their 16+ year old daughter. It's frowned on today so I can imagine what a controversy that would have stirred in the 1890's. Note on my Great Aunt's Betty and Marg, they are going to become Great Great Great Aunt's in October of 2000.

I visited My Great Aunt (Betty Starr Jackson) in Ottawa on Sunday June 20/99 and asked her if she remembered her father Lewis(Louis) Reese Starr's birthdate, she wasn't sure if it was September 21st or the 24th. Just the fact that it is either confirms that this is the right lineage. She also said that Lewis (Louis) Came to Burk's Falls from Buffalo, New York and not from Baycity, Michigan like previously suspected. This would make more sense seen as though Harriet Rebekah Starr was born in Erie, Pennsylvania.
I'm guessing that Hiram died somewhere in Pennsylvania or New York and Lewis his mother Mary and his 2 sister's moved to Canada sometime after.
I have no explanation to why Lewis used the Name "Louis" instead of Lewis. On his marriage record his age is marked as 24 years old which would have made him born in 1869. This posed a problem, but after some theorizing and talking to Aunt Betty, I came to the conclusion that he may have said he was 24 due to the fact Sarah Snell his wife to be was only 17 at the time. They probably courted for sometime before getting married, and her parents probably wouldn't have approved of a 30 + year old man dating their 16+ year old daughter. It's frowned on today so I can imagine what a controversy that would have stirred in the 1890's. Note on my Great Aunt's Betty and Marg, they are going to become Great Great Great Aunt's in October of 2000.
