What a great State Meet!! Congratulations to Mark Crouch and his West Des Moines Dowling Maroon's who finished first 5 points ahead of Bettendorf. Zach Ferguson won both the 100 & 200 freestyle events as well as being the Senior Scholastic Award Winner, congratulations Zach! Dowling also set a new state record in the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 3:09.56. Valley of West Des Moines also had a great showing as they finished 3rd winning both the 200 medley and 200 free relays and Jason Snider won both the 200 IM (State Record) and the 500 Free. Jason was also named the Athlete of the Year and Coach Mark Wagner was named Coach of the Year, nice job Valley!!
