Meet the brothers of Kappa Gamma!

Danny "Bluto" Keen, President and Webmaster - Greetings one and all! I'm a senior Communications major, after a not-so-brief stint as a music major. I like to say I can play trombone, trumpet, keyboards, bass, and guitar... but I wouldn't call myself a pro at any of them. I also play the Didgeridoo, or dijerido, or what you will... an Aboriginal instrument. I like reading, playing DnD (yeah, I'm a nerd), and I spend way too much time surfing the web.

Chris "Shaggy Fish" Poissant, Vice President - Chris is a slacker and didn't send the Webmaster any biography stuff. He has big hair, which at the moment kinda has a purple-ish tinge. Kinda. He enjoys camping and hiking... perhaps he just really really really likes the deer around campus...

Andrew "Gufas" Chupp, Secretary - Hi! I was born here in Rome, Georgia and since then have moved all over. My family has lived in three cities in Georgia, Boston, MA, and Guntersville, AL, where I currently reside (when I'm not at Berry of course). My family consists of both my parents, my older brother Jeff, and my younger sister Meriel. I am a freshman here at Berry and live in Dana. I enjoy singing, playing euphonium, but most of all playing bass. If you don't already know what "Gufas" means, don't worry, someone will probably tell you.

Brandon "Snuggle" Seay, Treasurer - I was born and raised in Cumming Ga. I plan to pursue a Biology degree here at Berry. I believe that music is the launguage of the soul. My hobbies include video games, singing, listening to music, and doing all I can to enrich each person I meet with the beauty of music.

Albert "Spanky" Coley, FEO - Albert was a slacker and didn't get a bio to the webmaster. It'd probably be best if you didn't ask him about his nickname. Also, in the event that you hear him say "safety" or see him sit up for a moment, run away.

Thomas "Poker Face" Clark, Warden - Hey there, I’m a freshman Music Education major here at Berry. I was initiated on November 19 of 2001. My primary instrument is voice (bass 2) but I play trumpet in jazz band as well. My claim to fame is my car (the beast) and my ear. You can e-mail me at trclark@students.berry.edu.

Dave "Slacker" Barry, Alumni Secretary - Dave Barry pledged Phi Mu Alpha in Spring of 1998. He is currently a senior Music major with an emphasis in vocal performance. He enjoys hanging out with the brothers, golf, camping, computers, and procrastinating. You can reach him here.

Ed "Oscar" Blair, Historian - Mr. Ed Blair is a sad, sad bald man. Ed is grumpy. Very grumpy. Ed is a Music Education major. Ed will be 40 grand in debt to take a job that pays 30 grand average in Atlanta. Ed is grumpy. Ed is also bald.

Michael "RedHot" Smith, Music Director - Michael is a sophomore Music Ed major. He plays trumpet and sings bass. He's all about jazz (especially Michel Camilo, Arturo Sandoval, and John Clayton) and Drum Corps.

Wes "Bubbles" Taylor, CPR for Province 33 - I'm a junior physics major from Dalton, GA. My concentration is astronomy. I want my kid to be able to go to school and tell every one that his or her daddy is an astrophysicist. I've been playing tuba for a while now, as well as singing bass. I do the former in the Berry College Symphonic Band, Brass Ensemble, and Brass Quintet, the later usually takes place in the car or shower. My main focus in life is the beautiful Candice. Ah, love. Now if I can just find time for my homework.

Chris "Mustard" Clary - Hello my Sinfonian Comrades, Patriots, and Friends! I am a Senior, Pre-Med (at least for now) major, my girlfriend of almost 5 yrs is Mary, I am 22, a Capricorn, and my favorite colors are periwinkle and puke. Seriously, I have always enjoyed music and what it has to offer. I think that in many ways, music is the method that God speaks to us because it seems to be the only method considered beautiful enough. Music has always played a special part in my life in that, for me, it replaces the emotional feelings that others feel and receive through words. However, I do feel that life and everything around us can be answered with one song verse by my favorite band, Radiohead, "Ambition makes you look pretty ugly, kicking, squealing, gucci little piggy"

Ian "ODB" Cooper - Senior chemistry major from Atlanta; plays tuba, bass (upright and electric), guitar, and piano. Interests include snowskiing, hiking, music, chemistry, musical and literary composition, and taking the path least traveled.

Jeb "Carwash" Arp - Jeb Arp is from Rocky Face GA, near Dalton. He is the choir assistant at Berry College and also works at the Elementary School on campus. Jeb is an Education major and want's to teach third grade. His hobbies are mountain biking, painting, and travel. Jeb strives to put God first in his life and himself last, but as we all know that seldom works out. Jeb is also a member of KCAB (the activities board on campus) and is involved in the organization of several on-campus events. When asked for his favorite quote Jeb quoted H.D. Thoreau, "If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is becasue he hears the beat of a different drum--let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away."

Greg "Sheriff" Cross - Hey, I'm a Senior (WooHoo) Music Education Major from Benton, TN. My favorite thing to do, by far, is mountain biking. Anyway, I plan to teach elementary school after graduation (Yeah, I know, I'm psycho, but that is what God wants me to do.)

Nate "Random" Butzen - Hi! My name is Nate Butzen, I'm a junior Spanish/Psychology major from the country they call Iowa. I'm studying abroad this semester in Sevilla, Spain. Check out my webpage! www.natebutzen.com <><

Matthew "Maverick" Young - I am a music business major--emphasis in classical guitar and vocal performance. I compose music for the St. Peter's choir in Rome. I teach guitar lessons and listen to Yngwie Malmsteen. Baroque 'n' Roll !!!

Brad "Dale" Belvin - Yo Yo! I play sax, guitar, bassoon, and attempt to sing (notice the term attempt). Between school, my band, my girlfriend, and Phi Mu Alpha I don't have any spare time to do things. You can check out my band at www.treephort.com. Please vote for me on Hot or Not !

Ryan "What Were You Thinking (?)" Hansen - Hello, my name is Ryan, I like long walks on the beach, going and seeing the waves, and......oh, wait, this isn't that type of bio. I am currently a freshman Math/Music Performance major, and play the bass clarinet. My parents moved over the summer so if I go to visit them I have to travel all the way to Cocoa Beach, FL. If you ask me where I live, I would say Berry. If you ask where I came from I would say Tullahoma, TN. I enjoy playing role-playing games, visiting my girlfriend, and just hanging out with friends.

Jared "G-Bond" Smith - Senior Business Major from Santa Barbara, California. Marches contra for Spirit Drum and Bugle Corps. He plays Tuba, Euphonium and Trombone. His favorite movie is the Big Lebowski.
