My name is Rob Arn and I am the founder of Deerfield Hunting Club. I have been hunting with various clubs in South Carolina for years. In 1993 I started the club with my sons and friends. We started out with just around 700 acres. Today with many of the same guys that I started with, our club has grown in both members and in acreage. The club now leases nearly 1,600 acres.
Shown here is one of the fine trophy bucks that can be found in the woods of the Low Country.
Deefield Hunting Club is located in Estill, South Carolina, where some of the worlds best hunting can be found. The South Carolina Hunting Season is the longest season in the world, allowing hunting of big game animals from August 15th to January 1st of each year.
With such an early opening date, the whitetail deer hunter is allowed a good chance to bag a trophy buck still in full velvet. The terrain the whitetails have to live in is heavy agriculture area, with farmers growing such food crops as corn, soy beans, rye grass, wheat, watermelons, peanuts and much more.
Due to this fact and the mild winters this area has, the Low Country produces very large heards of whitetales. The genetics of the whitetail bucks and the great food supply provides the trophy hunters some of the best chances to bag large body buck with a nice rack.
Deerfield Hunting Club is in its 6th year existance. It is located just outside of Estill, South Carolina in the middle of some of the most productive woods found. We have a great mix of woods and agriculture fields, that allows the hunter the greatest varitey in preferences of hunting.
There are more than fifty club stands that can be found on the almost sixteen hundred acres of private land. These stands are located on our dim wood roads, in the middle of the woods and on the edge of fields. The locations of the club stands have been stategetically positioned in areas, deer frequently visit and or travel to and from their beds to their food supplies.
Deerfield Hunting Club is not a commerical hunting club, and does not sale day or weekend hunts. The only persons allowed to hunt on the properties that the club leases are the members and their guest.
For person wishing to purchase one two or three day hunts, I have set aside
500 acres that I sell a limited amount of hunts during prime times of the season. This acreage is not part of the Deerfield Club and is not permissable to any of the members.
