Activities of the Pack:
-
The Pack is designed for boys ages 7 or in the 1st grade to age 11. The Pack participates in many activities: Not only do we have Den Meetings and Pack Meetings weekly, we have other fun activities!!! Every year we have a Pow Wow overnighter at the Church for kids and family. Here we have lots of fun with non-stop activities and entertainment. We also participate in several parades throughout the year, such as the Christmas Parade, the Massillon/McKinley Parade, and the Memorial Day Parade. Once a year we also have a Pinewood Derby. This is where the kids (with parent's help) build a derby car from a block of wood and race the other members of their dens. The overall winners advance to the Pack finals to race against all other division winners. The best part is the cookie bakeoffs (mmmmmmm goooood!). We primarily have two family camping trips during the year. These trips are to approved Scout Camps and occur in the spring and fall. We have a monthly Pack meeting the last Saturday of the month where we acknowledge the boys and their achievements. We have weekly Den Meetings. These are broken down into individual age groups and led by two adults. If this all sounds interesting please check out our other pages showing schedules and locations.
