My name is Tim Shuttleworth, and I am from Reading in the UK.
This summer (August-September 2001) I joined the
Child2child
building project in Nairobi, Kenya. We set out to build a centre for street children to be run by a Kenyan lady.
Apologies to those who hoped to follow the progress with "pictures on
this site to be updated daily!" Things don't always go
as planned - the 35km distance to Nairobi and the speed and availability of internet access
meant only a single modest update was possible during my 3 weeks. The boss said I had to work,
after all...
