Wild Creatures and Wild Places

(and some tame critters, too!)

I enjoy many outdoor activities such as camping and walking in the woods or on the beach. But one of my favorite things to do in the outdoors is take photographs of the flora and fauna that are a part of it. Fortunately, for the last 15 years I have lived in rural areas just a short distance from many great outdoor photo opportunities; for 12 of those years, I was within a two-hour drive from the REAL Yosemite. Following are some of my favorite pictures chosen from the thousands I have taken. I hope you enjoy your tour.

Oh, one more thing. To those of you with a "trained eye", please don't be too critical. Remember, this is only a hobby; I have had no formal training and by no means do I claim to be a professional.
