In November of 1996 our quest for the truth ended when we found Krishna Conciousness. As we learned about Lord Krishna we understood that this was the religion we were after. We now have chosen to spread the wealth of knowledge bestowed upon us about this great movement. We hope you too may be able to learn more about Krishna Conciousness through our web site
Hare Krishna Index of Information:
His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada came to America in 1965, at the age of 69, to fulfill his spiritual master's request that he teach the science of Krsna conciousness throughout the english-speaking world. In a dozen years he published some fifty volumes of translation and commentary on Indias Vedic literature, and these are now standard in universities worldwide. Meanwhile, traveling almost nonstop, Srila Prabhupada molded his international society into a worldwide confederation of ashrams, schools, temples, and farm communities. He passed away in 1977 in Vrndavana, India, the place most sacred to Lord Krsna's devotees. His disciples are carrying foward the movement he started.
