Welcome to my Banjo-Kazooie page, the number one source for Banjo-Kazooie information on the internet!! I, BlueMoon007, was probably the first person in the whole world to be excited about this incredible game. I learned about it way back in May 97'. Today, I own the game, of course, and it is excellent, challenging, and exiting! This combined with the fact that the graphics are riviting, brilliant and incredible, the music is the best I've heard in a game, and it has tons of replay value, make this game the best on the market until The Legend of Zelda: Orcania of Time.

Banjo-Kazooie is Rumble Pak compatible and has 128 megabits. Also, it is made by Rare, the outstanding company that made GoldenEye. Banjo-Kazooie is a 3-D adventure game, in which you play Banjo and Kazooie in a mission to rescue Tooty, Banjo's little sister, from the evil witch, Gruntilda, who wants to drain the beauty out of Tooty and take it for herself. Here's a complex version of that storyline. Fortunetly, the shaman, Mumbo Jumbo, Bottles the mole, and Gruntilda's good sister, Brentilda will lend a hand. Kazooie lives inside Banjo's backpack and together they can perform various different moves and attacks. The obvious jumping attack is present as usual, but Banjo-Kazooie also offers new moves that have never been seen before. These include Kazooie's beak attack and an extra long super jump that uses Kazooie's wings. Another one of the new features involves the pair being able to transform into other creatures: such as when they are morphed into termites for a level, which means they can explore previously inaccessible areas with ease. This key feature adds a problem solving element to the proceedings, and should help to set Banjo-Kazooie further apart from comparisons with Super Mario 64. You see, in order to open up the worlds farther in the adventure, you need to colect Gold Jigsaw Pieces, which you earn by defeating bosses, solving difficult puzzles, completing objectives, winning minigames, and by finding them. There are 100 Jiggys in the game, 10 in each of the 9 worlds, and 10 in the central world conecting them all. The worlds are as follows:

  1. Mumbo's Mountain, World 1, this mountain belongs to the shaman, Mumbo Jumbo.
  2. Treasure Trove Cove, a beach world.
  3. Clanker's Cavern, this sewer is the home of Clanker, Gruntilda's friendly trash compactor.
  4. Bubble Gloop Swamp, a slimy swamp land.
  5. Freezeey Peak, a cold Winter WonderLand.
  6. Gobi's Valley, the opposite of the previous world, a blazing desert world.
  7. Mad Monster Mansion, a scary and dark haunted house where you match wits with ghosts, skeleton, and worse.
  8. Rusty Bucket Bay, a world on board the battleship, the HMS Gruntilda.
  9. Click Clock Wood, a forest world.
Actually, the Witch's Lair is the biggest area in the game, it connects all the worlds as a central world.

Fans of Super Mario 64 will love this one! If you go to the Nsider area at www.nintendo.com you might know me from there as BlueMoon007. Banjo-Kazooie came out on June 29th, but due to a vacation I didn't want to go on, I didn't play it till the 8th. Too bad.
