Hi, my name is Geoff. I'll be your host while you visit this website. This is a website devoted to the Crescendo Baha'i Youth Conference. Just stay around a while, take a look.
Well, the first thing I have to work out is just how much you already know. The titles below are links. No, really, pull your mouse pointer over one. See, it turns to a finger. Pretty cool, huh? Anyway, each of those is a link to a different part of the Web Page. The one you need to go to depends on what you're looking for. Read the little description below each of them, then work out where you need to go.
What is the Baha'i Faith?
If you've never heard of the Baha'i Faith before, I suggest that you go to the "What is the Baha'i Faith?" Section first, because very little will make sense without this part. So, if you've never heard of the Baha'i Faith before, or you don't know much about it, just click on the title. There, you will find an outline on the Baha'i Faith, taken from my own humble opinion, but more importantly you'll find a whole heap of links to other places on the net. Go ahead. Don't be scared. Baha'is don't bite. Trust me.
What is Crescendo Conference?
Okay, so if you know about the Baha'i Faith, or you are a Baha'i already, you may be wondering what this Crescendo Conference thing is. Your first step will be to take a look at the "What is Crescendo Conference?" section. You'll have the chance to have a look at what we are doing, why we are doing it and even the chance to take a look at the Vision Statement. Go ahead, take a look. Be curious. I'll wait for you here to start the next bit.
Updates
Okay, so by now you'll notice some of the other sections at the bottom of the page. So what are they about? Okay, the first is the update section. This will be the section where all the latest information will be put. It will contain updates from each of the individual communities, as well as details of the programs as we get closer to the event. This will hopefully be the most exciting part of the page. At the moment there is not much in here, but go ahead. Take a look anyway.
Technological Standards
Okay, so what is this "technological standards" thing. Okay, we're trying to link up youth from all over the planet, so we need to have some way to do it. This is the place that tells you how we're going to do it, and what you'll need to get to get involved. Personally, I'm computer illiterate, so I'll try to keep the computer lingo tuned down. But there should be enough for the hard-core computer junkie out there. Enjoy.
How do I get involved?
Right, the second to last title. The link that says "How to get involved". That one. For those of you who are not scared off by this project, and even better, if you are actually excited by it like we are, have a look at this part. This will tell you how to get involved with the project yourself. If there is someone in your country already involved with the project, this is how to contact them. What, there's no one in your area already involved with the project, but you still want to be involved? Guess what, you're it. We are always in need of a few extra hands, so come on board.

Oh, I almost forgot about that last link there. Just so you aren't talking to a bunch of total strangers, this is a profile page, so you can get the chance to meet the people behind the scenes. Really, we are all better looking in real life.
