Walt Disney World, in Lake Buena Vista, Florida is one of the best and most popular family vacation destinations. Most people think of Disney World and think of the Magic Kingdom, home of Cinderella's Castle, It's a Small World, and the Pirates of the Caribbean, but there is now so much more. New attractions are an important part of the Magic Kingdom, including Alien Encounter and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin.

The second park added to the Walt Disney World resort was EPCOT Center, now known simply as Epcot. Epcot include two distinct areas, Future World and the World Showcase. Future World features many different pavilions featuring new technologies in different fields. The World Showcase gives visitors a little taste of each nation's culture and traditions. And no visit to Epcot would be complete without seeing Illuminations: Reflections of Earth.

The third theme park added was the Disney-MGM Studios. The Studios includes movie and television studios which are featured in the backlot tour. This park has recently seen the addition of the first looping roller coaster at any Disney park in the United States, the Rock 'n Roller Coaster. They also added the very popular Who Wants to Be a Millionaire - Play It!, where guests sit in the hot seat to win prizes.

The newest park is Disney's Animal Kingdom. Featuring the Tree of Life as the center piece, Animal Kingdom is a very different park from the previous parks. There is a huge drive through safari, with real animals. Just walking through the park is like a walk through the forest with lots of vegitation. The most popular part of Animal Kingdom is the shows. The best is The Festival of the Lion King.

In addition to the parks, there is lots of other things to see and do. Disney has three water parks, miniature golf, boat rentals, Boardwalk, golf, and Downtown Disney. Downtown Disney include the West Side, Pleasure Island, and the Marketplace. The West Side is home to a AMC multi-plex, DisneyQuest (a high-tech interactive experience), and Cirque du Soleil. Pleasure Island is home to a variety of dance clubs for guests over 18. The Marketplace is home to shopping and dining.
