Presumably broke up, Steel Pole Bath Tub was one of the greatest bands of the 90s (because I say so) yet terribly overlooked. I don't know too much about them, don't have their entire discography, and have never seen them live, but the few records, singles, compilations and whatnot I have gotten a hold of, I've found to be all too amazing and pretty inspirational. I see practically no information of them on the internet and I live in rural area where Wal-Mart is all we have for a record store, so hopefully this page gives some start as a decent online information base if there's anything you want to know.
.New Milk Cult record on the way! The insanity may touch down in hopefully early "Double Ought" and is entitled "Project M-13" which will be released on The Tub's very own label.
.Pseudo-new Steel Pole Bath Tub record is on the way as well, woohoo! It'll be a collection of demos from 1997, so it's not really polished nor "new" new.
.There's a super unlikely chance, but Steel Pole Bath Tub may play a few Bay Area shows. I'm already gasing up the car.
.All that news courtesy of Mike. Extremely appreciated!
.Personal note. I found "Tumor Circus". It's only Godhead. Knowing what I know now of this record, I'd sell my soul to buy it all over again. Jello Biafra fronts very well for Tumor Circus.
