History Of The Band:

RECKONING has performed at numerous clubs in the Central Pennsylvania area, including The Rusty Nail in Harrisburg, The Courtyard in New Cumberland, Granfalloons in York, Hot Z's in Landisville, The Rawhide Saloon in Ephrata, The Creekside Café in Columbia, and many others. In addition to original material, the band covers songs by Neil Young, R.E.M., Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, and many other artists.

The band was formed in 1996, when Joe Olnick joined Greg Naylor and Scott Wintersteen, who had been performing for years in the York area as the acoustic duo Crystal Freeway. After a show as Crystal Freeway, the three decided to change the name of the band to TRILOGY.

Early in 1997, percussionist Paul Downie joined the band for a series of spectacular concerts. When Paul had to leave the area to go back to school, Chris Loser was recruited to keep the beat. A dramatic change in the band's sound has occurred with the addition of Chris, who plays a full drum set as well as occasional percussion. It was this change to a more electric sound that prompted the members to change the name of the band to RECKONING.
