Well, where shall we start..The room was formally known as Slow Typers Over 40+ room, then changed to Hushpuppy41's room and along the way had several other names. During the time that passed on Yahoo chat, morning, evening or wee hours, we all got to know each other. And decided that it's time for everyone to meet. Anne Marie along with Springer picked a place along with a date. Anne Marie was busy with the travel Agency, looking for the best place for all of us to stay as a group. The Holiday Inn was chosen by the group as the hotel to be. The date seemed so far away at the time, but how quickly it came. We were all looking forward to meeting each other after talking to one another for a couple of months daily. Getting together before *W* having the morning coffee, tea, Pepsi,Dr.Pepper what have you....All these names had a face behind them as we saw a few of them at Rogues Gallery (also known as PALS), but some pictures were not on! So what better way to meet everyone together in one neat little package....The Falls!! For awhile in Yahoo chat, all the talk was about the falls. Ask Lady asap if she was excited about it!!(some show more than others) Everyone started making there plans for getting there, some were flying and the rest I think were driving. As the days became numbered, everyone seemed very excited about it. I personally couldn't believe how fast it came, it seems just like we were arranging the reunion.. Then we hit the month of October, which made it very clear that the reunion was just around the corner. Slowly people started to disappear from chat, starting to pack and get ready for the falls. (some of us like to wait for the last minute :o)..) We were finally going to get to meet all the people we have been talking to for the past couple of months, but not everyone could make it. Let's hope they can be at the next reunion! My reunion started on the 23rd with Roomie A.K.A. Amazonanne, who came to Montreal (who did NOT burst into flames as she crossed the border..just for the record!) in which I thank her dearly for picking me up and letting me get the chance to meet everyone :o) Anne Marie for a beautiful job of getting everyone together, my deepest thanks to her, and to Springer (butterfly boy) for being Mr.Limo driver, picking up who ever needed a lift from the airport to the hotel. And to all the yahooians who took the time to meet at the falls...Thank you very much, I had a blast meeting you all and I'm looking forward to seeing you all again at the next chat reunion, which is to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada USA. At the moment there hasn't been a date picked, but be sure, there will be one!
