The Robert Lee Whitefield Blues Band
Proud Members of the Blues Ring!

The Robert Lee Whitefield Blues band is the creation of lead guitarist and vocalist Robert Lee Whitefield. Influenced by the likes of Peter Green, Rory Gallagher, Johnny Winter, Albert King, Elmore James, Howlin' Wolf, Sonny Terry and the great blues scholar John Sinclair, the RLW Blues band has set out to both simplify and promote the essence and soul of the blues in an age of studio over production. Eschewing the novelty of todays studio wizardry, RLW blues presents an honest, no frills approach to the blues, one that seeks to be the medicine within which the blues listener can gain a glimpse of themselves... and feel better for it.

Make sure to check out the RLW blues band links to everything blue on the web! There is also a blues timeline which details the development of the blues and much, much more.
