Final off road points race will be Sept. 19. The race scheduled for Sept 26, will be a trophy race. The Sept. 26 race will have 4 qualifying rounds and mains. We are currently working out details to continue racing in October. There will be no points racing but the format will be different, Enduro racing with teams. We'll see how things progress.
Special bullitin. The club has declined using the newest batteries that have been put on market particularly the 3000 series of rechargeable batteries. They will not be aloowed for racing purposes.A review of this matter will be done in the spring time of 2000.

Racing quick info. Sunday racing is on. doors open at 10am, racing starts at 11am.

There will be evening racing every Wednesday night in June at 6:30pm. June 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30. If turn outs are good, Wednesday night racing will continue in the following months. Here is the official Sunday schedule, racing begins at 11:00am: May 30 (first race)June 6, 13, 20, 27July 4, 11, 18, 25August 8, 15, 22, 29 September 12, 19, 26
Club members will be eligable to compete for points and enjoy reduced entry fees.

Who are we? We are Mid Canada R.C. Racing, and we are stationed in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Mid Canada is affiliated with another organization in Winnipeg called M.R.C.A.R. Mid Canada runs R.C. car racing in the winter months, And Midcanada is running things during the summer months this year.
Bring what you got, we'll put you in a class!
For those who do not know where the off raod track is, it is east of the Canadian Mint on Highway 1, behind Lakeside RV, Grand Prix Amusements is next door. If you pass Car Canada you have gone too far.
If you have a rc vehicle that is not listed in the above classes (other than a plane or boat or glider) don't be shy, bring it out, ask the guys if you can race, were all about having fun, well set ya up somewhere, somehow. It's cool. This is a place for family's and friends. After all, we're all just big kids now, ain't we?

Off road racing will be ran by Mid-Canada this summer. The first off road race is tentitivly scheduled for May 30. A complete shedule will be drawn up soon. Gill Gautron and Henry deMontigny are heading up the off road and will be holding a track maintenance day on May 15. They would like as many people as possible to show up and help out with the track on the 15th. We are all hoping for a great summer of off road racing and if we have pleanty of volunteer help, hopefully it will be as good if not better than the indoor season. If all goes well this summer, hopefully the club will be in a position to purchase an AMB lap counting system in the fall. A lap counting system has been a man date of our club for many years now, hopefully it will become a reality.

Our club races for points only on sunday and only members can race for points. Members also enjoy reduced fees for racing.
Why race for points? It'll nab you a trophy if your fast enough! I'm polishing mine from last year, mmm, looks good. :)
Both Mid Canada and M.R.C.A.R. are NON PROFIT orgaizations. The reason for charging for a membership and racing is for the r.c. car racing hobby can flourish in winnipeg, and to continue meeting the needs of our members.
