I bought this car about 6 years ago. It was my daily driver up to about a 2 years ago when I needed to get something a little more economical. I've done all the work on this car myself, and have kept the car mostly all original except for the wheels, which are Cragars 30 spoke wire wheels with 235 70-15 Michelin XW4's. I've also added a 750 Holley Carb with electric choke, it puffs some black smoke when I get on it sometimes, I may need to down jet it. I've also added a Mallory pointless ignition system. I've dressed up the engine compartment with some chrome Ford Motor Sports valve covers and an open element air cleaner. I also added some 9mm SVO wires. The 429 engine is a monster. This is one T-Bird that knows how to fly. The paint on the car was done 5 years ago by me (not to bad for a beginner). |
As you probably figured out from the pictures, I'm from the Daytona Beach area. I work at a local garage as a ASE Certified mechanic. I enjoy working on my 72 T-Bird in my spare time (ha ha), and my family and I all have a lot of fun when it comes time for the car shows. Our favorite shows are at the Daytona International Speedway. They are the two biggest car shows in the southeast. We also enjoy going to Cruise Night, that is held every second saturday night of each month on Canel St. in Downtown New Symrna Beach. Its about four hours long and they have a fifties D.J. and about 250 cars. Well I hope you all enjoy this car as much as I do, be sure to visit my 67 Mustang page and as always come back anytime, don't forget to bookmark this page or put it in your favorite places folder. |
