WELCOME TO MY FAVORITE DRIVERS AND LINKS

Here we go with another season of surprises. I hope you all enjoy this year. As usual, we can all count on a few rules changes on the fly, as in the past. So let's kick back and watch the boys put it to the boards, and the officials put us through the grinder of what next. Don't forget to click on my picture with Dale Jr.'s car (below) for my weekly comments about the week's races and just click on this paragraph to get to the schedule and links.

Hello, my Name is Junior and my Owner is a guy named Critter.

As you can see, I am a working truck. I do all sorts of chores for my Owner. Last month when he decided to do his Son a favor, he used me to pull an old Farm All Tractor all the way back East from Iowa. Oh my aching frame. My skin took a beating on that one. Mud, Rain, Snow, what a trip!

Actually, I really do enjoy working out with my Hemi muscles, and I like to see my Owner’s smile when I let loose my 5.7 litre, 348 C.I.D. engine with 348 HP. He puffs up with pride when he has to pass someone, or something, and I give him that Fuel injected passing power.

My Owner shocked my body a few months back when he got a couple of graphic numeral 8's for the doors. I wondered what that was all about until the automotive stickers came. Duh! I should have realized it after he took me to Daytona for the NASCAR season opener. I am really getting a lot of thumbs up out there, and he likes it a lot. There are a lot of other NASCAR fans out there, but only a few owners dress up their vehicles the way my Owner did me. I am used to all the stares now, and I have never once heard anyone make fun of me. After all, if they did, I might roar at them. Fuelies do that you know!

My owner keeps me quiet, except to pass, and we work together very well every day, from hauling rock, sand, sod, brick, or even grub from the market, to pulling cars and his 38-foot camper to Maine. We do it all.

I Love My Owner, and he takes care of me. If I were human, I would kiss him - Naaaaaah!

Note from Critter’s Sister, Connie:

If you know Critter personally, you know that he used to big a BIG guy! (It was from all those Oreo’s over the years.) Well, after trying every diet known to man (and woman), he decided to go for a gastric by-pass. I sure am proud of my BIG brother and have made a little pictorial of his weight loss. Please visit this page and send him a note about what you think. Way-to-go, Bro!

Left Turns from Critter's Chair, and Marty's Barn. A really sports minded zoo of people. I am glad I have a gang of guys to hang out with on race days. Many fans sit the race out alone, but when you have buddies, and beers, Race Day is a lot more fun. We have a good time ragging on each others drivers.

Wizard's site is a great DEI and RCR oriented site and Dena and Wayne will let loose of what's on their mind about NASCAR. You can count on this site for accuracy of information...a real race-dedicated family.Dena has weekly updates, and speaks out on most anything that ain't right. I always look forward to their race comments. They are good folks and I appreciate what they've done for me. Please take a minute and visit their site and say hello.....Critter

Here's another of my favorite sites. I enjoy visiting them often and think you will too. They have one of the best tribute sites to Dale on the internet. It's worthy a bit of your time.
