He stared as Bond in 7 differnt films (Live and Let Die, The Man With the Golden Gun, The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy, A View to a Kill). He came to US in 1953 and was considered for the part of Bond during initial casting search in 1962, but he had a contract with another studio. He stared as Simon Templar in the famous TV show The Saint.
