    The Perfect Strangers Legacy

Perfect Strangers began as the first show in ABC's TGIF lineup, where it quickly became the most popular show of the night. The show was basically a showcase for Bronson Pinchot and Mark Linn-Baker, as they would always find some way to get into trouble. The show's premise made the show one of the most hilarious on TV. Pinchot played a young shepherd from the fictional island of Mypos who has fulfilled his lifelong dream by coming to America to his distant cousin. Linn-Baker played a hyperventilative, paranoid American who has just moved to Chicago when Pinchot shows up at the door. It would be hard to find two more different people! While Balki (Pinchot) is fun-loving and happy just to be an American, Larry (Linn-Baker) is forever trying to advance his career even though he is very nervous no matter what he does. Together they make one hilarious show.
