In the 1997 comedy "Good Burger," Ganzel plays a woman customer. - "The Granny"
In the 1995 horror film "The Granny" Ganzel played Leanne, girlfriend of Lenny (Dan Woren), a
worker in the J.T. Oswald Mortuary. Lenny and Leanne view Granny's body. Leanne asks Lenny
for a ring on Granny's finger. Granny comes back to life and kills Lenny when he attempts to
remove the ring. Ganzel is incorrectly listed as "Theresa Ganzel" in the opening credits, but
correctly in the closing credits. - "Hexed"
Ganzel played the minor role of 3rd Reporter in the 1993 movie "Hexed." Her only line is
"Matthew, do you think Oswald acted alone?" - "Transylvania 6-5000"
Ganzel appeared as Elizabeth Ellison, the love interest of Jack Harrison (Jeff Goldblum), one of
two tabloid reporters sent to Transylvania to investigate a modern-day appearance by
Frankenstein. In the 1985 spoof on horror movies, Goldblum meets single-mom Ganzel in the
following exchange:- Goldblum: Hi. You know I saw you sitting in the bus. I was going to come back, but I
no...
Ganzel: But you were too bashful.
Goldblum: That's right, but now we've met I'm gaining some self-confidence.
Ganzel: That's good. Then it will be easier to deal with rejection.
She received the following opening credits: "AND Teresa Ganzel AS "ELIZABETH"." The
movie was filmed in Yugoslavia.
The film was one of seven shown during the New Orleans Worst Film Festival VI (1996). The Internet Movie Database selected it as one of "The bottom 100 movies as voted by YOU." - "C.O.D."
In the 1983 movie, "C.O.D.," Ganzel starred as Lisa Foster, the daughter of the U.S. President, one of five women sought after to represent a brassiere line. The advertising man, Albert, was promised the company's account if he succeeded in getting all five women to sign contracts. The opening credits include the line: "Introducing Teresa Ganzel." - "My Favorite Year"
In the 1982 movie "My Favorite Year," Ganzel appeared as Dumpling. She played the girlfriend
of a gangster on the King Kaiser Comedy Show. Ganzel utters one word. - "The Toy"
In the 1982 movie "The Toy" Teresa Ganzel is Fancy Bates, the wife of millionaire U.S. Bates
(Jackie Gleason) who gives his department store's janitor Jack Brown (Richard Pryor) to his
spoiled son as a toy. Magill's Cinema Annual 1983 says of her role: "Teresa Ganzel, as Fancy, makes the best of a relatively insignificant part (she is usually hanging upside down in gravity boots and pronouncing U.S. Bates' first initials as "you ass")."
