The mission of the church has been
simplified: "prepare all God's children for eternal
exaltation." Our stake will be focusing efforts in the
following areas to prepare all God's children for eternal
exaltation:
Retention & Reactivation- These are our most
important areas of focus as directed by President
Hinckley!
Missionary Work - Full and
part-time missionaries perform an essential service in
this work, but the influence of all members in sharing
the gospel of Christ with those around us is the most
effective and important part of this effort.
Temple & Family History - The blessings of the temple are
vital to our spirituality and eternal progress, and are
equally important for our ancestors who have died.
Personal and Emergency Preparation- Much of what we
can do to serve others depends on our preparations in
several areas: our education, health, employment,
emergency preparedness, resource management, and social,
emotional, and spiritual strength.
Humanitarian Service - Service to others is an
important part of the work of the Church on every level,
but the local level is the most practical.
