Stacie's Basset Farm

Sturgeon, Missouri

This site is dedicated to my Basset Hounds, Rufus and Beulah. I am happy to announce the newest addition to our family is Howard the "Bassador". In addition to these three I have a constant supply of entertainment from my foster Bassets.  I am presently working with the Mid-America Basset Rescue, a chapter of B.H. Cares.  The goal of Basset rescue is to save unwanted, neglected and(or) abandoned Basset Hounds.  We take these hounds into our homes, give them food, shelter and lots of TLC until they are adopted by a family.

This is Beulah.  Don't be fooled by that sweet face...She's really a little devil!

This is Howard the newest member of our family.  He is my "Bassador" which I define as a dog with a Basset body and a Laborador head.  He is 11 1/2 months old and very sweet.  I named him Howard "the Coward" because he is such a chicken.  Howard is no longer acting like a chicken and is now in Level III obedience and agility!
