• Our good friends Laurel and Sue officially left Seattle for Berkeley, CA to pursue their post-doctoral fellowships! It was sad to see them go, but we had a nice farewell party and helped them load up the U-Haul (fish, cats, and all!). We had a lot of good times with them, including some great snowboarding trips to Whistler, many karaoke parties, hikes, etc. They were also of great moral support to Ivy during some of the inevitable difficult times in the course of grad school...they will be missed.
