1. Isaac C.¹ Reed was born Goshen, Connecticut Feb. 1, 1822. Isaac died July 11, 1907 Los Angeles, California, at 85 years of age.

He married Luna A. Pomeroy Stark County, Illinois, Nov. 21, 1844. Luna was born Franklin, Vermont Feb. 2, 1825. Luna died 1904 at 79 years of age. At 22 years of age Luna became the mother of Herbert L. Reed Carmi, Illinois, March 27, 1847. At 26 years of age Luna became the mother of Miles A. Reed Carmi, Illinois, April 9, 1851. Luna became the mother of Sewell S. Reed Illinois, abt. 1854. At 34 years of age Luna became the mother of Earnest A. Reed Oct. 26, 1859.

At 25 years of age Isaac became the father of Herbert L. Reed Carmi, Illinois, March 27, 1847. At 29 years of age Isaac became the father of Miles A. Reed Carmi, Illinois, April 9, 1851. Isaac became the father of Sewell S. Reed Illinois, abt. 1854. At 37 years of age Isaac became the father of Earnest A. Reed Oct. 26, 1859.

Isaac C. Reed and Luna A. Pomeroy had the following children:

2 i. Herbert L.² Reed was born Carmi, Illinois March 27, 1847.

3 ii. Miles A. Reed was born Carmi, Illinois April 9, 1851.

+ 4 iii. Sewell S. Reed was born abt. 1854.

5 iv. Earnest A. Reed was born Oct. 26, 1859.
