He married Jannette Kay Miles. Jannette was born Knox County, Illinois July 10, 1970. Jannette is the daughter of William Eugene Miles and Elma Carolyn Otten. At 28 years of age Jannette became the mother of Hannah Jo Morris Norfolk, Nebraska, Nov. 24, 1998.

At 50 years of age Joseph became the father of Hannah Jo Morris Norfolk, Nebraska, Nov. 24, 1998.
