He married Cheryl Lynn Flanagan Aug. 21, 1996. Cheryl was born Sept. 23, 1977. Cheryl is the daughter of Dave Flanagan and Julie Ann Cromwell. At 18 years of age Cheryl became the mother of Preston Kane Powers March 27, 1996. At 21 years of age Cheryl became the mother of Abrianna Reigh Powers Nov. 19, 1998.

At 18 years of age Robert became the father of Preston Kane Powers March 27, 1996. At 21 years of age Robert became the father of Abrianna Reigh Powers Nov. 19, 1998.

Robert Ray Powers and Cheryl Lynn Flanagan had the following children:
