First Generation

1. Samuel1 Rees was born Montgomery County, Pennsylvania Sept. 20, 1760.

He married Rachel Stroud Pennsylvania, Oct. 4, 1792. Rachel was born May 1, 1774. Rachel was the daughter of Col. Jacob Stroud and Elizabeth McDowell. Rachel died April 25, 1854 Delaven, Wisconsin, at 79 years of age. At 19 years of age Rachel became the mother of Hannah Rees Aug. 31, 1793.

At 32 years of age Samuel became the father of Hannah Rees Aug. 31, 1793.

Samuel Rees and Rachel Stroud had the following child:

child 2 i. Hannah2 Rees was born Aug. 31, 1793. Hannah died June 19, 1854 Wisconsin, at 60 years of age. She married Daniel LaBar Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, Dec. 20, 1814. Daniel was born Smithville, Pennsylvania Aug. 13, 1789. At 26 years of age Daniel became the father of Elizabeth LaBar April 18, 1816. At 27 years of age Daniel became the father of Harriet LaBar July 24, 1817. At 30 years of age Daniel became the father of Samuel Rees LaBar Jan. 17, 1820. At 32 years of age Daniel became the father of Emeline LaBar Sept. 15, 1821. At 34 years of age Daniel became the father of Edwin LaBar July 11, 1824. At 36 years of age Daniel became the father of Horace LaBar May 8, 1826. At 38 years of age Daniel became the father of Ann Matilda LaBar Oct. 19, 1827. At 39 years of age Daniel became the father of Gilbert LaBar June 29, 1829. At 41 years of age Daniel became the father of Eugene LaBar Jan. 9, 1831. At 44 years of age Daniel became the father of Helen Thomas LaBar Sept. 22, 1833. At 47 years of age Daniel became the father of Albina Rosalie LaBar Dec. 5, 1836. At 22 years of age Hannah became the mother of Elizabeth LaBar April 18, 1816. At 23 years of age Hannah became the mother of Harriet LaBar July 24, 1817. At 26 years of age Hannah became the mother of Samuel Rees LaBar Jan. 17, 1820. At 28 years of age Hannah became the mother of Emeline LaBar Sept. 15, 1821.
