1. Orson Oriel¹ Richins was born Henefer, Summit County, Utah April 2, 1862. Orson died Dec. 16, 1926 Virden, Hidalgo County, New Mexico, at 64 years of age. His body was interred Dec. 17, 1926.

He married Caroline Fawcett Oct. 20, 1881. Caroline was born Wellington, New Zealand Aug. 24, 1862. Caroline was the daughter of Joseph Fawcett and Mary Ann Stratford. Caroline died Sept. 27, 1892 at 30 years of age. At 20 years of age Caroline became the mother of Joseph Oriel Richins Mesa, Maricopa County, Arizona, April 12, 1883. At 24 years of age Caroline became the mother of Charlie Parley Richins Deming, Grant County, New Mexico, Sept. 18, 1886. At 26 years of age Caroline became the mother of Emery Williard Richins Colonial, Chuahua, Mexico, Feb. 23, 1889. At 28 years of age Caroline became the mother of Mary Emma Richins Colonial, Chuahua, Mexico, Dec. 7, 1890.

At 21 years of age Orson became the father of Joseph Oriel Richins Mesa, Maricopa County, Arizona, April 12, 1883. At 24 years of age Orson became the father of Charlie Parley Richins Deming, Grant County, New Mexico, Sept. 18, 1886. At 26 years of age Orson became the father of Emery Williard Richins Colonial, Chuahua, Mexico, Feb. 23, 1889. At 28 years of age Orson became the father of Mary Emma Richins Colonial, Chuahua, Mexico, Dec. 7, 1890.

Orson Oriel Richins and Caroline Fawcett had the following children:

2 i. Joseph Oriel² Richins was born Mesa, Maricopa County, Arizona April 12, 1883. Joseph died March 19, 1941 Salt Lake City, Utah, at 57 years of age. He married Lodema Viola Johnson.

3 ii. Charlie Parley Richins⁽²⁵⁶⁾ was born Deming, Grant County, New Mexico Sept. 18, 1886. Charlie died Dec. 20, 1976 Blythe, Riverside County, California, at 90 years of age. He married Zelpha Watson.

4 iii. Emery Williard Richins was born Colonial, Chuahua, Mexico Feb. 23, 1889. Emery died May 27, 1891 Colonial, Chuahua.

5 iv. Mary Emma Richins was born Colonial, Chuahua, Mexico Dec. 7, 1890. Mary died Jan. 21, 1969 Mesa, Maricopa County, Arizonia, at 78 years of age. She married Lachoneus Patton Mexico, April 2, 1910. Lachoneus was born Chuahua, Mexico Jan. 24, 1891. (See Lachoneus Patton for the continuation of this line.)
