He married Ellen Eliza Stratford Wellington, New Zealand, Feb. 10, 1873. Ellen was born Wellington, New Zealand June 5, 1853. Ellen was the daughter of George Alder Stratford and Mary Ann Hollingshead. Ellen died Dec. 9, 1934 Brooklyn, Wellington, New Zealand, at 81 years of age. Her body was interred aft. Dec. 9, 1934 Karon, Wellington, New Zealand. At 20 years of age Ellen became the mother of Ellen Margaret Player Wellington, New Zealand, Nov. 20, 1873. At 21 years of age Ellen became the mother of Kate Edith Player Wellington, New Zealand, Dec. 29, 1874. At 21 years of age Ellen became the mother of Davis Edward Player Wellington, New Zealand, April 23, 1875. At 24 years of age Ellen became the mother of Maude Preston Player Wellington, New Zealand, Aug. 3, 1877. At 26 years of age Ellen became the mother of George Preston Player Wellington, New Zealand, Aug. 4, 1879. At 30 years of age Ellen became the mother of Olive Stratford Player Greytown, New Zealand, March 27, 1884. At 34 years of age Ellen became the mother of Ernest Nicholson Player Napier, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand, March 25, 1888. At 34 years of age Ellen became the mother of Fredrick William Player Napier, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand, March 25, 1888. At 39 years of age Ellen became the mother of Ivy Hollingshead Player Napier, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand, Oct. 18, 1892. At 41 years of age Ellen became the mother of Elsie Louisa Player Wellington, New Zealand, Jan. 30, 1895.

At 26 years of age David became the father of Ellen Margaret Player Wellington, New Zealand, Nov. 20, 1873. At 27 years of age David became the father of Kate Edith Player Wellington, New Zealand, Dec. 29, 1874. At 27 years of age David became the father of Davis Edward Player Wellington, New Zealand, April 23, 1875. At 30 years of age David became the father of Maude Preston Player Wellington, New Zealand, Aug. 3, 1877. At 32 years of age David became the father of George Preston Player Wellington, New Zealand, Aug. 4, 1879. At 36 years of age David became the father of Olive Stratford Player Greytown, New Zealand, March 27, 1884. At 40 years of age David became the father of Ernest Nicholson Player Napier, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand, March 25, 1888. At 40 years of age David became the father of Fredrick William Player Napier, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand, March 25, 1888. At 45 years of age David became the father of Ivy Hollingshead Player Napier, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand, Oct. 18, 1892. At 47 years of age David became the father of Elsie Louisa Player Wellington, New Zealand, Jan. 30, 1895.

William died April 21, 1950 Marton, New Zealand, at 73 years of age. His body was interred April 23, 1950 Marton, New Zealand, Mount View Cemetery. At 24 years of age William became the father of Ellen Elizabeth Dickson New Zealand, Aug. 19, 1901. At 26 years of age William became the father of Margaret Moir "Rosie" Dickson Aug. 11, 1903. At 28 years of age William became the father of Isabelle Alice Player Dickson Marton, New Zealand, March 4, 1905. At 30 years of age William became the father of John David Dickson Marton, New Zealand, Sept. 21, 1907. At 33 years of age William became the father of William George Dickson Nov. 28, 1910. Maude became the mother of Ellen Elizabeth Dickson New Zealand, Aug. 19, 1901. Maude became the mother of Margaret Moir "Rosie" Dickson Aug. 11, 1903. Maude became the mother of William George Dickson Nov. 28, 1910.

3 ii. Ellen Margaret Player was born Wellington, New Zealand Nov. 20, 1873. Ellen died April 12, 1903 Wellington, New Zealand, at 29 years of age.

4 iii. Kate Edith Player⁽²²³⁾ was born Wellington, New Zealand Dec. 29, 1874. Kate died 1903 Wellington, New Zealand, at 28 years of age.

5 iv. Davis Edward Player was born Wellington, New Zealand April 23, 1875. Davis died Feb. 11, 1877 Wellington, New Zealand.

+ 6 v. George Preston Player was born Aug. 4, 1879.

7 vi. Olive Stratford Player was born Greytown, New Zealand March 27, 1884. Olive died Nov. 20, 1970 at 86 years of age. She married Harold Richard Furby. Harold became the father of Olive Ellen Furby 1906. Harold became the father of Winifred Elsie Furby Brooklyn, Wellington, New Zealand, Jan. 10, 1909. At 22 years of age Olive became the mother of Olive Ellen Furby 1906. At 24 years of age Olive became the mother of Winifred Elsie Furby Brooklyn, Wellington, New Zealand, Jan. 10, 1909. At 26 years of age Olive became the mother of Ernest Phillip Preston Furby Sept. 10, 1910.

9 viii. Fredrick William Player was born Napier, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand March 25, 1888. He married Lilian Margaret Chapman.

10 ix. Ivy Hollingshead Player was born Napier, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand Oct. 18, 1892. Ivy died April 26, 1969 at 76 years of age. She married John Willis. John became the father of Roy Willis March 1922. John became the father of Joyce Willis Nov. 1923. John became the father of Fredrick Willis May 1925. At 29 years of age Ivy became the mother of Roy Willis March 1922. At 31 years of age Ivy became the mother of Joyce Willis Nov. 1923. At 32 years of age Ivy became the mother of Fredrick Willis May 1925. At 35 years of age Ivy became the mother of John Willis Sept. 1928.

11 x. Elsie Louisa Player was born Wellington, New Zealand Jan. 30, 1895. Elsie died April 22, 1978 at 83 years of age. She married Samuel Richard John Mardon. Samuel became the father of Noeline Mardon Nov. 1929. (See Samuel Richard John Mardon for the continuation of this line.)
