1. Morris D.¹ Robeson was born Philadelphia, Pennsylvania June 3, 1804. Morris died March 30, 1856 at 51 years of age.

He married Emily Hollinshead. Emily was born Jan. 1, 1806. Emily was the daughter of Dr. Peter Hollinshead and Ann Stroud. Emily died March 20, 1840 at 34 years of age. At 20 years of age Emily became the mother of William C. Robeson Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, Nov. 8, 1826. At 22 years of age Emily became the mother of Peter H. Robeson Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, July 22, 1828. At 24 years of age Emily became the mother of Edwin D. Robeson Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, Nov. 24, 1830. At 28 years of age Emily became the mother of James W. Robeson Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, Jan. 17, 1834. At 29 years of age Emily became the mother of Joseph Robeson Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, Aug. 29, 1835.

At 22 years of age Morris became the father of William C. Robeson Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, Nov. 8, 1826. At 24 years of age Morris became the father of Peter H. Robeson Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, July 22, 1828. At 26 years of age Morris became the father of Edwin D. Robeson Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, Nov. 24, 1830. At 29 years of age Morris became the father of James W. Robeson Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, Jan. 17, 1834. At 31 years of age Morris became the father of Joseph Robeson Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, Aug. 29, 1835.

Morris D. Robeson and Emily Hollinshead had the following children:
