1. Herbie "Shorty"¹ Rogers was born Jan. 22, 1905. Herbie died July 1976 Oklahoma, at 71 years of age.

He married Rosa Lee Sommerville abt. 1924. Rosa was born Coalgate, Coal County, Oklahoma Feb. 9, 1908. Rosa was the daughter of John Morton Sommerville and Margraret Melinda Ruth (Chotaw Indian). Rosa died June 21, 2004 Tecumseh, Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma, at 96 years of age.

Herbie "Shorty" Rogers and Rosa Lee Sommerville had the following children:

2 i. Herbie J.² Rogers.

3 ii. Ginger Rogers. She married Unknown West.
