        CRYSTAL CHRISTMAS TREE ORNAMENT
         
        1 - 25nm crystal star bead
        4 - l8mm crystal star bead
        6 - l2mm crystal star bead
        4 - 8mm crystal faceted bead
        8 - 6mm crystal faceted bead
        1 small crystal bird or the color of your choice
        6 inches of a silver tinsel stem
        Thread the 25mm star bead the center of tinsel stem.
        Thread two l8mm star beads on, then from the other end thread two l8mm star
        beads, keep threading the other beads on from each keeping the same amount
        on each side of the 25mm star bead. Thread three l2mm star beads, on each side.
        One 6mm faceted bead on each side.  Two 8mm faceted bead on each side.
        Three 6mm faceted head on each side. Twist stem ends together trim if necessary.
        Tie a hanger on. Glue bird in center of the bottom.
        The order of beads on the stem in size.

        DOGGIE BISCUITS
         
        1 teaspoon instant beef bouillon
        1/2 cup hot water
        2 1/4 cups whole-wheat flour
        1/2 cup nonfat dry milk
        1/3 cup vegetable oil
        1 jar (about 31/4 ounces) bacon-flavored pieces
        1 tablespoon firmly, packed brown sugar
        1 egg
        Preheat oven to 300 degrees. In a
        medium bowl, dissolve bouillon in
        water. Add remaining ingredients,
        stirring until well blended. On a lightly
        floured surface, use a floured rolling
        pin to roll out dough to 1/8-inch
        thickness. Use a 2-inch heart-shaped
        cookie cutter to cut out dough. Transfer
        to a greased baking sheet. Bake 30 to
        35 minutes or until firm. Transfer to a
        wire rack to cool eompletely. Store in
        an airtight container.
        Yield: about 6 dozen doggie biscuits
        POMANDER BALLS
         
        Bring the smell of the holidays into your home. Use lace or Christmas ribbon to divide orange, lemon or lime into quarters.
        Secure with hat pins or large headed plastic topped pins. Select a thin skinned orange, lemon or lime. Use a nail or skewer
        to start holes for cloves. Add row after row until fruit is completely covered. Makes a wonderful decoration or centerpiece
        that lasts for months. Make a bow or decorative top of ribbon. Add a ribbon hanger. May be hung in closet for a
        sweet-cloves fragrance.
        CINNAMON ORNAMENTS
         
        This is a simple "no bake" ornament idea. It is so simple children can make them.
             3/4 to 1 cup applesauce
             4 3/4 oz. ground cinnamon
        Mix together to form a stiff dough. Roll out to 1/4" thickness. Cut with small cookie cutters.
        Make hole for ribbon hanger. Carefully place on rack to dry. Let air dry for several days,
        turning occasionally. Makes 12 sweet smelling ornaments.
        TIN PUNCH ORNAMENTS
         
        Canning jar lid
        hammer
        punch (ice pick)
        braid
        glue gun
        ribbon
        Lightly trace shape (bell, tree, heart, etc.) on top of jar
        lid with pencil. Space punched holes along lines with hammer
        and punch. Trim edges with braid, add ribbon bow and hanger.
        Holiday Yule Logs
                                 Warm up your fireplace with these holiday yule logs. Quick and
                                 easy, these make perfect holiday gifts.
                                 What you will need:
                                      Wood log - make sure it’s very dry
                                      Paraffin wax
                                      Pinecones, evergreens, cinnamon sticks
                                      Cellophane and ribbon
                                 How to do it:
        1. Melt paraffin wax in a coffee can in a pot of boiling water.
        2. Drip melted wax over log.
        3. Hot glue the evergreens first, then cinnamon sticks, pinecones and berries.
        4. Wrap log in cellophane and tie with a ribbon.
        **Remove cellophane before placing into fireplace.
