Beautiful Site! Many years have passed, Many family members lost, it's good to know that the memories have been kept alive! I am the daughter of Jeannette Evelyn Mauget (Evelyn Jeannette, on her birth certificate)born to Jules and Alice Mauget on April 21, 1915. She was the 7th daughter. Mother passed on in April of 1983. My Brother Jim Thomas, has been researching the family tree in recent years, and after a visit with him over the holiday, I decided to help him. I came across this site this morning. Short Family update: Jim and his lovely wife Penny still living in Anaheim CA. Two grown sons, Rick and Vance, Two beautiful grandchildren. Linda (Me) and husband Bob living in Apple Valley, CA, three grown children, John, Tara & Becky, two beautiful grandchildren. We would love to hear from any of the family and I'm sure that Jim has some wonderful pictures and info to share. (He's the 'keeper of the stuff' as I call him!) May God Bless you all. Linda Ogden

My early entry was complimenting my fabulous cousins efforts to make this page happen. However, for those Mauget'lings out there who don't know who I am. I am Neoma Melvina Mauget eldest daughter of Jules Jean and Irene Melvina(Deeds) Mauget. I also ha e 2 older half brothers. Jules (Jay) Mauget & Harold Kirshner. The 2 boys were adopted by their stepfather after their mother and my father divorced. Jules changed his name back (from Jay Kirshner)and has been recently in touch with my brother Mike. He resides in Stanford, Washington I believe. No one in my immediate surviving family has ever met Harold. I am the oldest to brothers Jules (yes my father had 2 Jules), Robert (Bob) & Michael (Mike). And my precious 1/2 Sis Christy Krapko Bowls. I am named after the eldest Daughter in the 2nd gene ation of US Mauget's. Even when I married I opted to keep my maiden name instead. No offense was taken by my then new husband as he felt the name was beautiful just the way it was. I am the Mother of Ian Jevon McKinley age 15. And Schuyler Michael Mauget Dornbirer (you should see his SS card) age 6. They are my world, and I am sharing as many memories of my heritage and their Grandpa Jules, as he died long before either of them we e born (1970). With this web site they will forever have a resource to their roots.
