What if a Whippet's favorite artist was Andy Warhol?
What if Andy Warhol saw Whippets as pop icons?
Whippets translate as natural subjects in the celebrity idol theme of Warhol's work. Whippets have a Superstar image and aura; they step high and glamourous. They fit into the saying "you can never be too rich or too thin." All celebrites aspire to be "Whippet thin" yet Whippets are already whippet thin. Whippets know they are famous.


The Whippet that appears in these Warhol inspired images is Eldoro's Fast Friend Geddy. He was born on June 11, 1997 at Eldoro Kennels in Pontypool Ontario, Canada.



When everybody has a boring old Golden Retriever, a Jack Russell Terrier, a Beagle or a Rottweiler, it's good to have a Whippet.
