This was a fun quilt to make. I finished the Sunbonnet Sue quilt on May 1, 1999.
It was a gift to my niece. I made a Sunbonnet Sue baby quilt when her daughter was born in 1981, and this was her favorite quilt pattern. She asked me to make her a full size quilt, which I promised. But as time went by, I forgot about it, so Christmas 1998 she sent me a pattern book with Sunbonnet Sue pattern in it, which she had circled. Although it was 18 years later, she really was pleased with it. As you can see, Ollie, my cat
