This is the Most Recent News on our Walden line:Application card on Harriett Pitts (Harriett Catherine Walden) sister of Susie Walden.
Her application for enrollment was rejected.
Listed Harriett's parents as Elexander (Alexander) WALDEN and Morning WILLIAMS WALDEN.
She claimed Morning was a Cherokee Indian and Morning's parents were John and Lucy WILLIAMS all born in Greasy Rock in East Tennessee.
In 1851, they were living in Keetsville Missouri.
She listed her siblings as:
Margaret Walden born 8/14/1857 died 12/1884
Elizabeth Walden born 12/15/1847 living
Susan Walden born 1/30/1850 she said she was dead at the time of the application in 1906 but she couldn't remember when she died.
Freeman Walden born 9/10/1852 died 10/1861
John Walden born 7/17/1855 died 2/2/1877Harriett Walden Pitts was born 3/23/1846 in Greasy Rock East Tennessee.
She listed her children at the time of the application as:Joseph Walden 38 born 1869 and Hester Misenhammer 35 born 1866.
