Jack and I were both born and raised in New Jersey. We have been married since 1959. We built our home on 1 1/2 acres of rural wooded land 39 years ago. We lived in the southern part of New Jersey halfway between Atlantic City and Philadelphia, Pa.
I had been employed in the Insurance Business for many years with a New Jersey Insurance Broker's License and later did bookkeeping. Some of my hobbies are genealogy, computers, crocheting and bell collecting.
Another of our hobbies is Motorcycle touring. We have traveled from Atlantic City, N. J. to San Diego, California and from Canada to Florida. There have been many beautiful and interesting trips. On some of our trips we pulled our motorcyle camping trailer. We still ride a 1985 Harley Davidson FLTC Candy Apple Red. I rode my own Honda Shadow 500 before moving to Florida.
Jack elected early retirement from NJ Transit and then worked as the Chief Flight Instructor at the Millville, N. J. Airport. He teaches Private, Commercial and Instrument students.
We started our genealogy research about 25 years ago. All our records were preserved in hand-written notebooks. We are now using The Family Tree Maker Genealogy Program.
However, the most relaxing activity of all goes something like this .....
Imagine being on a warm sunny beach with a gentle breeze blowing.
Feel the warmth of the sun beating down on your skin,
the sound of the ocean waves as they splash on the shore.
Imagination is no longer needed.
We have retired to beautiful Sunny Florida.
