MY LOVE
It was the hour which lay
between sleeplessness and confusion that I reached a pont
of heartache and misery.
My body begged my mind to
stop racing for a few moment so I could rest, but the heartache lay at my side
enjoying every moment of misery that I was going thought.
Finally I entered a state of
foggy dreams and illusions while there I saw an old friend. The pain never let
me, but the sight of him did mask over the pain then I saw others coming. Many
I've never seen before, yet I knew them as well as I knew my old friend.
Then I heard my love scream
for help. I turned just in time to see a huge black cloud start to take on
human form as it wrapped a long flowing robe around itself. The hood was large
enough to cover its vile face of which I knew, but count not see.
Its face had a hideous smile
covering it vulgar mouth. So intent on capturing its victim it begin to tremble
with excitement as it reached out to take hold of my love, for its own
tormenting pleasure.
I reached out to take her out
stretch hand to pull her to me for protection. Then across her heart appeared a
parchment. It begin to roll itself as a vile smelling
vapor wrapped itself around the parchment pretending to be a ribbon. Then the
parchment disappeared only to reappear in her out-stretched hand.
She wrench her hand back and into
the direction of the laughing, screeching figure which started to move closer
to my love, then it glance at me, and it’s eyes blinked with fear. The long
flowing robe tried to melt backwards into the black cloud it came from. It then
stopped.
No matter how she tried to
rid herself of the parchment, it never left her hand. The figure
stop long enough to make sure the forces of the demons that stood
between us had a sure bond between them and her heart. It begain to enjoy
itself as it watch her try to rid herself of the parchment that held her.
All at once a sickening sound
issued from beneath the hood as it said. "Show him what is written upon
the parchment." She recoiled in shock and started to cry in a loud voice. “I
can't, I'm so ashamed.” The figure begin laughing even
louder as it pointed toward an old lady standing at my side saying “It is
forbidden to speak on her behalf, no one can tell him, but her.”
Then I noticed that the old
lady standing next to me begin to grow in bodily strength and was no longer an
old lady, but rather she became a young, beautiful and powerful lady. I
recognized her, yet I didn't know who she was.
Then she spoke with a voice
soft and gentle causing the figure to jerk backwards as though it was hit by a
voice of power greater than itself. She spoke to my love saying. “Show him the parchment, let all your fears and embarrassment be put aside
for only you can save yourself.”
My love then tore a small
piece from the parchment and handed it to me. As I looked at the words they
came alive causing me to become ill at my stomach. Immediately I wanted to
vomit, but I couldn't. Then I started to cry.
“NO”! Replied
the beautiful lady. “You must show him the all that is upon the parchment.”
Again my love
scream for my help and again I reached out to pull her to me, but she
yank back her hand in the direction of the laughing, screeching figure.
The figure
laugh louder than ever as it reached for her once more. Then the
beautiful lady called to her once more saying. "Oh daughter of my
daughters daughter you must give up the parchment, for I've seen all your
secrets as you weaved your web of darkness."
Then my
friend turned to me and saying. “My old friend, if only I could help. For all of us were there and
seen everything that is written on the parchment. We are forbidden to tell of those thing. It is she who must tell and hold back nothing,
for we are captives of her Darkness.”
I turned to her and asked her
to hand me the parchment. But she refused saying. “I'm afraid to.” I begin to
beg her to show me the parchment.
Then the beautiful young lady
turned old again and said to me. "Her love is for herself only. It is
shallow and empty. She can never be free because she wants to be captive to her
secrets, and so shall it be. Morn not over the lost of her, for she has chosen
this for herself. Let your heart be full of light again. Seek out one whom you
can trust, love and live for.” Then the old lady turned an
walked away from me.
I turned to my old friend to
ask for help. He waved to me and pointed to my love engulfed by the huge dark
figure. She was clutching the rolled up parchment tight against her heart, as
she snarled at me with a laughter that was calling me a fool.
