Our Cats

This page is dedicated to our 2 loving kitties, Shimi and Chubs. They are both stray kitties that my daughter, Kristy picked up. Shimi is our female calico cat, we got her when she was about 6 weeks old, two days before Halloween, and she's now around a year and 5 months. Chubs is our black and white kitty who we got around 8 weeks old. He's around 6 months now.

Shimi was named by my son, Kevin. Her name is short for "sashimi" which is raw fish that Japanese like to eat. She's very hyper and hates to be carried. And she's a great mouse catcher, very fast and a good hunter.

Chubs is more laid back and a lap cat. He'll stay on my lap for ours and just sleep his life away. lololol~! He is such a lovable cat that everyone wants to take him home. My boyfriend says he would be a good cat to take to the hospital or care home to visit the elderly.
