Hi
everyone! It
is a nice, hot and humid 2004 summer in Houston. We moved during the
hottest time of the year from Plano to Katy, Texas and what a
change!!! The first month the entire family spent the time indoors
getting acclimated to the humidity. Talk about taking several
showers a day from sweating all the time... Anyways, we moved into a
brand new home and built a swimming pool which we have enjoyed so much
this summer (click on Yeah
to see slideshow). Garrett went on vacation with the grandparents to
Disney World in June.. Erika and Shannon have completed their first season of
swim team. If anything, they came out being better and stronger
swimmers. I just came back from a two week trip to Sweden in
May to meet the relatives. What a wonderful time! Sweden is a
beautiful country and the people very friendly. I went with my mom,
cousin Wendy and aunt Marlys. We visited to areas:
Brastad/ Lysekil (southern) and Falkoping (central Sweden). I can
tell you the Swedes eat good over there! Lots of fish, coffee and
desserts.....
And
finally, the family completed a week at Destin beach, Florida with sister
Tracey, husband Rob and Skyler. We went to the Big Kahuna Waterpark,
chartered a fishing boat and caught four King Mackerals and went
