For many years, even as a Christian, I searched for my place in this world...
At times I felt like I really didn't belong anywhere. I had a deep need to be accepted by others while always seeking to be the center of attention. My life was filled with depression, busyness, anger and bitterness. I always felt that noone loved me. I really didn't know how to LOVE. I knew God but I really didn't KNOW Him.
The Bible says that GOD IS LOVE. God began to show me several years ago that if I couldn't understand or feel love then I couldn't truly understand or feel GOD either. I was constantly fighting a battle in my mind. A battle that didn't belong to me to fight. The BATTLE belonged to the LORD, but daily, I tried to fight this battle alone.
One day while in prayer, God told me He was going to teach me to LOVE. The funny thing was that God told me he was going to teach me how to LOVE through a bird. ( Okay, now you are saying this Christian freak has really lost her marbles! ) But God DID teach me how to love through two cockatiels named Ecclesiastes & Revelation, and a Blue & Gold Macaw named LittleOne. ( notice my screen name is ptMACAW ) I hand fed the Blue & Gold Macaw. I treated her as a newborn baby. She was dependent on me for everything. That is how God our Father wants us to be towards Him. He wants us to depend on Him for everything. Sometimes he places us in the wilderness (alone with HIM) so we can learn to hear His voice. So we can learn that we CAN and MUST depend on Him.
I want you to understand something. A great deal of us from broken, dysfunctional homes do not know how to express emotions appropriately. When I met JESUS, I couldn't relate to this LOVE and TRUST thing. I know that many of you have gone through similar circumstances. Let this be a word of encouragement for you.
There is HOPE in JESUS!
God wants us to TRUST Him with everything in our lives. He wants us to LOVE Him unconditionally.
I needed a deeper, more intimate relationship with Christ. A relationship that could only be obtained by spending time alone with HIM. God tried to get my attention in many ways. But I, like so many others, was too busy to put God in my schedule. Besides, I didn't really trust God. God was continually saying to me "TRUST ME". But how was I suppose to trust God after all the bad things I had gone through in my life? If I couldn't feel His LOVE then I couldn't very well TRUST Him could I? ( I WAS WRONG ) God will use WHATEVER he can in our lives to develop that level of intimacy with us that He desires.
(Sometimes He must take us out to bring us back in)
It is a bondage to not feel love or be able to express love. The ANOINTING of GOD is seen in the Bible in many different and peculiar ways and it is GOD's Anointing that breaks every bondage in our lives.
The Bible says that Greater LOVE has no man than to lay down his life for his friend. Jesus did exactly that for us when He gave His life on the cross. He suffered in every way imaginable to man the day of His crucifixion.
GOD's LOVE IS GREATER THAN ANY LOVE!

However, for those who know exactly what I have been discussing here today, GOD wants to set you free from the fear of man, the hurts, and the abuses in your life.
JESUS is the only one who can Save, Deliver and Heal.
If you don't know Jesus as Savior, ask Him to come into your heart today.
If you know Him, ask yourself:
"How well do I really KNOW Him?"
Do you need to know how to LOVE?
Do you need to learn to TRUST God?
Do you hear voices in your head every day?
Do you have a fear of man?
God will set you free today.
Ask Him to show you how to Love.
Tell the negative voices in your head to go away.
Ask God to remove the FEAR.
Spend time with God in His presence daily.
Get DESPARATE for more of GOD in your life!
He will show you where your "Place In This World" is!
