Our ancestors met to sew, quilt, laugh and just be
together. These meetings were usually in a person's home or in a local church. These meetings were called Quilting Bees. Guess what---It still is and we still love to do it just as much as our
fore-mothers did!
We are going to be making the Comfort Quilts for the Community
Affairs project in these "bees". You can come and join
us to work on them or anything else you want. Or, just come and
keep us company and chat. You are welcome anytime.

Here is a list of dates and locations of the newest Quilting
Bees starting this month:
First Christian Church

Huntsville, Alabama 35802

Time: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.
The Senior Center

Both of these "bees" are open. The facilities are
large and we could have 3 large groups.
Nina Antonison is our contact for these 3
Bees.
There are many other "bees" in our Guild. As soon as
we get a list of them and the contacts, they will buzzzzzzz in on
this site. Nina is our Beekeeper. Please contact her and give her
the needed information. If you have questions about the
"bees" or other information and suggestions---she is
the one to talk to. Give her a BUZZZ.
