Thank you for sharing your memories of Sam. I also read about what is happening in Germany and was very afraid for all dogs and owners over there. I have 2 dobes and 1 pit bull mix and none of them are vicious. We are just getting into schutznund and it i the most fun I have ever had with dog training. Dogs are only dangerous if the person owning them is an idiot. Let me know what I can do from so far away to help with the breedban law.

I am just getting started surfing your page, but it was recommemded on my doberworld list. I have been listening to all of the horrible stories of what is happening over there with all of the breed bans. It is terrible!! I don't know what I would do if so eone tried to take my dobe or my chow/rott away! I cannot believe that a country whho used to be such avid dog breeders and handlers is now killing all of its wonderful dogs. It is so sad. Let me know if there is anything I can do from soo far away. It ma es me cry that so many innocent animals are bng sentenced to death simply because of their breed. I am so sorry.

I feel bad that your Dobermans always have to be muzzled. That is too sad. I have a dog (*baby*) that is 1/2 Siberian Husky, 1/4 German Shephard and 1/4 Rottweiler. She is adorable, full of energy, FUNNY, and spoiled. I wouldn't trade her for the worl . Keep up your good work!!

We met you when you came to Canada in 1999. Just love your photos..I was the proud owner of Sam's brother, CH. Balove Don Juan DeBaviere who crossed the Rainbow Bridge at three years of age due to an unfortunate accident. I still miss my "Rambeau" very mu h, no other Dobe can or will ever replace him. As for the Dubois family, Diane has and always will be my mentor in the Dobie world. I did not have very long to preview your website however I really did enjoy and hope to have time to return an look at each of your beautiful dogs. My husband and I purchased a beautiful (in our eyes) female puppie for our daughter who is attending college. My daughter truly loves her beloved dog as do we. Greetings! We are visting yur site from Connecticut, USA. My husband Mike & I are the proud owners of Storm (6 yr old male) and Tasha (6 yr old female). We have had Storm since he was 8 weeks old and we just rescued tasha last week. We bought Storm out of the paper (BIG mistake) but we love him so much. He has been a medical nightmare but is a terrific pet. I absolutely love the breed. They are so misunderstood and unfairly criticized./ I must say they are not for everyone. Storm requires a great deal of e cercise and lots of attention. Tasha is not spayed and we've been told she had two litters during her life. We do not wish to breed her so we will spay her just as soon as we can. I have heard both good & bad about having more than one dobe at a time but o far. The tow really seem to enjoy each other a great deal. Tasha has already established herself as Alpha leader with Storm. He seems not to care. The only time they growl at each other is over food or toys. We have been feeding them seperately to avoid any conflicts and keep the toys out of site until we are more sure about their relationship. Any advice you could offer would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hi, Vanessa Was it so difficult to find the home page?. Citto is also registered at stud dogs site in Germany. Ihave the home page for quite some time. You're right when it comes to puppies being a lot of work. The bigger they get the more muck for me to clean up. But they are getting cuter every day. Unfortunately, because of the puppies I don't train with my bi ch. My hubbie has taken over temporarily.It's fine but I miss the frenzy of the training. Both she and Citto are doing well and if they keep up the good work they will go for IPO exams in november. As far as the shows are concerned we are planning to go t Mechelen (B) and after that we'll begin the sason in October. I have to take care to go to shows which occur on Sundays. This in connection to the fact that we train onn saturdays and I can't afford to miss a single training because of the exams. How far are you with your doggie? And what was your last show? I didn't know that you have a kennel.I'm always glad to discuss doggie business. That is it for the time being. PS I like your page. It is great that you made it yourself. I can't do anything alone but a friend of mine is an Internet designer so.. I wish you a lot of success( ultimately not if Citto is also participating in the same show,ha-ha!)

Vanessa, I applaud you and your philosophy in breeding the most beautiful and intelligent dog ever developed by man. I have three, two which we got in Germany, one in Berlin and another rescued from the Darmstadter Tierheim. The other we recued here in eorgia.
