Morgan was born on June 19, 1995. You
would never know that she was born 10 weeks premature and weighed 3 ½ pounds. The wonderful doctors and nurses at Georgetown University Medical Center
watched over her for 50 days and we able to take
her home August 7, 1995. The only lasting effect of her prematurity is that she developed hydrocephalus. As a result of the hydrocephalus, she has been shunted since she was one month old. Morgan is now 4 years old and is the cutest "big" girl in the world (her sisters Hannah and Hope are now the little girls in the house). She loves to play Blue's Clues on the Internet or make a mess with her E-Z bake kitchen. She's in pre-K now and know all of her letters and numbers and can read a few short words. It's amazing how fast they grow up. Besides showing her off, I created this page to inform people about Morgan's hydrocephalus. If you would like to see more pictures of Morgan, please wait while the page loads. IT MIGHT TAKE A WHILE, but it's worth it... |
