I have been a family childcare home since 1983. I recently completed my CDA classes, and am currently working on completing my competencies and resource file. I am also a Volunteer firefighter & Medical First Responder, have 2 daughters, age 12 & 15 who re both in dance class. I live out on our family land of 160 acres and my daycare parents love the fact that we have lots of animals, because then their children don't feel the need to have one at home. My husband has wholeheartedly supported my staying a home, raising our children, and also earning an income, almost equal to his.
