There is a wonderful symmetry to life, isn't there?
We never intended it to be this way . . . it just evolved.
Friends (and family) are always surprised to visit us and see that, despite all the pets, the house is not standing on end, but instead quite peaceful and calm.
So, why not come on in for a visit? If it takes a minute or two to load a page, it's because I didn't want to leave out a single picture that I knew you'd really want to see! So, grab yourself a cup of coffee, and stay awhile!

We moved to this house from a very noisey neighbourhood in September '96, and my Mom and Dad were thrilled when they heard, because my Mom had actually lived in the other half (it's a double) as a teenager. Or, as my Dad put it, in the days when he was "courting" her! Friends of theirs that I'd always called "Aunt" and "Uncle" had lived on the side we now call home.
When people express awe at the number of pets we have, Jim and I tell them we're setting up a petting zoo so we can charge admission!
